Krystal Marie (born on November 24, 1982) is an American political commentator from the United States. She was previously a politician, as well a television host on MSNBC as well as a regular contributor to The Huffington Post, and former cohost of The Hill’s Rising alongside Saagar Enjeti. Enjeti and Ball made the decision to cancel the show in May 2021. This was in order for the release of Breaking Points (Krystal and Saagar). Ball hosts Krystal Kyle & Friends' podcast along with Kyle Kulinski. She has appeared as a guest on shows like Real Time with Bill Maher, Fox News (CNBC), Fox News (Fox News) as well as CNN (CNBC). Ball got married to Jonathan Dariyanani in 2020. Ball is able to attribute her new political interest due to her experience as pregnant during the 2008 presidential primaries, and watching the outcome of the 2008 US presidential election during her time in Jordan. She was able to see the effect the election had on the residents of her home country and was inspired to understand the international impact of US politics. She was a Senior Fellow with the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party candidate for Congress in Virginia's 1st district. She lost to Rob Wittman in 2010. She was the host of The Cycle on MSNBC from June 2012 until July 15, 2015. In May 2017, she launched the People's House Project, a political action committee working for Democratic causes.
