Catherine Anne

 Catherine Anne O'Hara OOC (born March 4, 1954), is a Canadian-American actress and comedian. O'Hara has won numerous prizes, including the Genie Award (a Golden Globe Award) as well as two Screen Actors Guild Awards and two Primetime Emmy Awards. In addition, O'Hara was awarded six Canadian Screen Awards. She was named an Officer of the Order of Canada in 2018 and was awarded the Governor General's Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement Award in 2020. O'Hara first became known for her acting in the year 1974 as a member of The Second City in Toronto. Along with John Candy (1975-1978), she was part of the primary casting for the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978). O'Hara joined Candy on the sketch comedy show Second City Television (1976-1984). She won the attention of critics both for her writing abilities and acting, and was awarded a Primetime Emmy Award, 1981 for Outstanding Writing in a Variety Series. O'Hara was a member of the new Second City artistic Advisory Board, which was led by Stephen Colbert. Other members of the board were Dwayne Colbert. Tina Fey. Keegan–Michael Key.
