Lara Logan
Lara Logan (born 29/03/71) is an South African television, radio and war correspondent. She was an official CBS News correspondent from 2002 until 2018.60 Minutes executive producer Jeff Fager described her factually incorrect, politically biased piece in 2012 Benghazi as "the worst mistake I have made in 10 years." In 2019 she joined the Sinclair Broadcast Group, a conservative media company. 4 On January 4, 2020 she was a part of Fox Nation. Fox News is a streaming service that requires a subscription. In March 2022, she said she was "dumped" by the company. Logan was a reporter at the Sunday Tribune in Durban, during her studies (1988-1989) before working for the Daily News (1990-1992). In 1992 she joined Reuters Television Africa as a senior producer. After four years, she decided to venture into freelance journalism and was assigned as an editor/producer, reporter and editor/producer at Fox/SKY, Fox/SKY and CBS News, ABC News (in London), NBC and the European Broadcasting Union. CNN was her home, where she covered events like the 1998 United States embassy bombings, in Nairobi and Tanzania. Also, the conflict between Northern Ireland and Kosovo.
